They have not done very much to teach me about financial literacy. I have a savings account, but its pretty hard for me to extract money from it because they'll grill me with questions. I don't get an allowance either, but I can make the odd dollar or two doing chores around the house. They do, however, match my earnings from chores, so like if I get 1 dollar from sweeping, they'll match it to be 2 dollars.
I learned from the savings module that it's good to save money and earn interest on it, so if you need to buy something in the future, I'm pretty good. I also learned that its good to have a budget, so you don't over spend your money. Before EverFi, I barely knew anything about money. Now I know all sorts of things that I didn't even know existed before, like the FDIC, W4, compound interest, and APR. It really helped me.
